What cookies and local storage do
Cookies are small values a website can ask a browser to retain and return with later requests. Local storage keeps values in the browser for scripts to access. Both can support preferences, but they are different mechanisms and are not required for reading these guides.
What this static edition uses
The supplied HTML, CSS and JavaScript do not set cookies, use local storage or session storage, or include analytics and advertising scripts. Navigation and scroll effects operate in memory. The message builder processes its draft in the current page rather than storing it through these mechanisms.
Copying a message uses your clipboard only when you request it. Downloading creates a text file on your device. These actions are not cookies. Your browser may cache website files or offer form restoration independently.
Publishing-platform features
A consent interface, hosting security feature or other component supplied separately by the publishing platform may have its own storage behaviour. Such components are not defined by these static files. Consult any information shown by the live platform and your browser’s site-data controls for the actual deployed site. This guide does not claim that separately added services have been audited.
Your choices
You can inspect and remove cookies or site data through your browser’s privacy settings. The exact controls vary by browser. Clearing data may reset preferences supplied by the publishing platform. It does not delete a downloaded text file or an email you have already sent; manage those copies in their respective applications.
If optional technologies are introduced, their purposes and applicable consent controls should be disclosed before they are used where required by law. External websites linked from the guides apply their own storage policies once you visit them.
